One of our new neighbors was kind enough to point us to the blog, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are Rob and Laura, and we just moved into 1820 Leslie (corner of Leslie and Bellefonte). We both work in the city (Laura’s in law, Rob’s in publishing). We used to live in Old Town, but we found this great house and decided to take it down the road a bit.
We’ve been really impressed with the warm welcome so far. But we’ve been in and out moving, so we’ve probably missed some of you. As a matter of fact, we were thinking this weekend might be a good time to stay put in the yard and (re)introduce ourselves to the neighbors. We also need to break in the new grill, so we’re going to pick up a load of hot dogs and beer, and we welcome anyone who wants to drop by on Saturday (probably from noonish to whenever).
Hi guys! It’s great to meet you – we’re right up the block from you! We’re out of town this weekend but we’d love to have you over sometime – maybe for a puppy playdate? 🙂
Certainly. Our puppy is always looking for buddies.
What a great turnout for short notice. Surely a sign of good neighbors.
Anybody who didn’t make it should feel free to stop by some other time.
Great post and picture, and great idea to invite people by. Wish I’d been here this past weekend!
